EXPO Data Asset Search Engine
Trango EXPO is a web-based, GIS-enabled data asset search engine. Using this system, you can search for data asset records such as seismic lines, well headers, and geological projects.
EXPO complements the flagship Trango Manager product suite by offering similar search and order capabilities but delivering it to web browser users, thus enabling access to remote and field-based personnel.

EXPO uses advanced database management and retrieval techniques to deliver intelligence to your desktop:
- Web Site Technology EXPO is a web site hosted on your servers so you can access this information anywhere the site is available. Your system administrator can set you up so you can visit the site on your corporate intranet, on the public internet, or both. All you need to run the system is Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- Multi-Database Support EXPO can "talk" to any compatible repository in Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. All your data assets in these catalogs are instantly available for searching, without modification or relocation. For instance, even though you keep "seismic domestic" and "seismic international" databases separate and isolated, EXPO can search through both at the same time.
- Search By Keywords You can enter values against keywords (such as "Line Name") to quickly retrieve only the assets that are of interest to you. You can enter simple search expressions (such as "Date Shot > 1-Mar-83") to help you narrow down your search.
- Workflow Support With EXPO you can mark up data assets from your search results for acquisition or physical retrieval. You can create work orders to action your requests. You can follow up on the status of outstanding orders. EXPO can handle the details while you concentrate on your workflow objectives.
- Security EXPO uses state-of-the-art encryption and security technology to ensure that sensitive data assets cannot be intercepted or copied. The system uses the same level of security protection that is currently accepted by the world's banking institutions for online transactions.
